Hello wooly mitten fans! It’s now the second week of September, and you know what time it is. School has started, pumpkin spice has taken over, and temperatures are starting to drop. That can only mean one thing: MITTEN SEASON! And boy oh boy do we have some fun things going on.
First, we are pleased to announce that after conducting an exhaustive search, we’ve found a local Minnesota supplier who has matched the style and quality you’ve come to expect from The Mitten Company. We think you’ll be very pleased with the quality and selection you’ll find in this year’s mitten collection :)
Second, we have expanded our line-up of products to include a MENS line of mittens! Mens mittens come in a variety of colors and a single size that will fit most men. Each pair of mens mittens contain a mixture of all our wool types. So, although you will not be able to shop by wool type, each pair is slightly more ridged and traditionally masculine. Womens mittens will still remain separated out by wool type.
Third, we have also developed an entirely new line of mittens we call “DRIVERS”. Our Drivers mittens all have genuine leather palms for a better grip, and are perfect for walking the dog, catching a football, or gripping that hot cup of your favorite Mitten Season beverage. Drivers Mittens will be available for both Men and Women when we open on October 1st.
Lastly, as a reminder, we have retained FREE SHIPPING on all US orders, and the quality customer care that you're already used to. Be sure to check the site often because we add new mittens all the time. Please subscribe to Mitten Mail to receive updates on all new product releases, promotional discounts, and company news: SIGN UP HERE!
Remember, each pair of Mitten Company mittens are unique, so we can’t take special/custom orders for color or size. But, we do read your comments, emails, and suggestions about what you are looking for. We hope you can find something you like for yourself or gifts for loved-ones this season.
We’ll continue to sell what our founder Deb called “the best handmade mittens, made with love in the USA”. See you all October 1st!
