Are Our Wool Mittens Machine-Washable?

I am often asked if our mittens are really washable. The short answer is YES! Our mittens are made from 100% wool sweaters that have been washed and dried in hot temperatures to "felt" the wool. Felting the wool closes up the air holes between the fibers so the cold air can not get in. Then, the mittens are cut out and sewn together. Feel free to wash and dry these mittens along with your regular laundry without fear of them shrinking. You will be thrilled with the ease of cleaning the the style of my wool mittens.
