Getting Ready for Mitten Season 2014!

It has been a busy spring and summer. We thought we could take a sewing break but no such luck. We did a lot of traveling in search of the perfect sweaters. We even went out to the great Northwest to find some unique sweater designs! We think you will see a lot of fun color combinations and embellishments in this years inventory.

New sweater stock ready to be cut up

We did a couple late summer craft shows. Sounds crazy, doesn't it? Who is thinking of wool sweaters when it is 80 degrees out?! But, we did sell a few pairs. The best part is meeting the great people who love our handcrafted mittens. We also just had a 3 day show in Wisconsin Dells. The weather cooperated with 60 degree temps and people were thinking about cool weather wear. How about you?

A good craft show translates to more time in the sewing room, making mittens for the next show and getting the website stocked.

I hope you enjoy the new selection on line. And remember, new items get added almost daily. It pays to check back often. I look forward to meeting some of you at my next show in Baraboo, WI on Oct. 11!
